Avalene “Ava” Graham was born in Belize and moved to the U.S. when she was 18 years old.  She is a proud mother of two children.

Working with people has always been a passion for Ava, which is why she initially pursued a career in the hospitality industry.  A few years later, Ava developed a deep interest in personal injury law after her son was brutally attacked by a gang in high school.  Ava’s son suffered a detached retina, was blind for 6 months, and endured multiple surgeries as a result of the gang’s cruel initiation ritual.  Going through this and other personal experiences ignited a fire deep within her to learn how to legally protect her children as well as other victims faced in similar situations. As a result, Ava obtained her Paralegal Studies Certificate from New York Paralegal School.

Since 2012, Ava has dedicated herself to helping others wrongfully injured in the personal injury and medical malpractice industry.  As a paralegal of The Case Handler, Ava works with her clients from the very beginning of the intake process until the very end of settlement day.  She has handled every type of personal injury matter and knows how to efficiently build strong cases to position our clients for remarkable results. Many clients of Ava describe her as a “compassionate” and “beautiful human being.”

“The Case Handler team is family and we are here for you like your family,” Ava explains. “Everything I’ve been through makes me who I am today, and I am humbled to help anyone get through their traumatic experience as well.”

Before joining our team, Ava had experience in domestic violence law and tax preparation assistance.  She is also a certified notary and real estate broker.
