What Happened?
On November 25, 2015 (the day before Thanksgiving Day), Ty was driving about 25 mph on the far right lane that was a “turn-only” lane. As Ty was approaching the intersection to turn, there was a car to the left of him that also needed to turn and maneuvered quickly into Ty’s lane with not enough space to cross over safely. Consequently, the car rear-ended the left side of Ty’s vehicle. Ty hit his knees during the accident, but did not think his injury was bad enough to go to the hospital.
