What Happened?
On January 22, 2016, Veronica was stopped at a red light at the intersection of 4th Avenue and East 4th Street in Mount Vernon, NY, when an inattentive driver slammed directly into the rear of her car. The collision sent a sudden burst of pressure that coerced Veronica’s body – jolting her head forward uncontrollably. The whiplash she experienced as a result of the crash gave rise to an instant and acute sting that permeated throughout Veronica’s neck and into her lower spine.
